Information we use
When you register or use Butcherly, we process your name, business name, email, account credentials, device registration details, staff and branch information, inventory, sales, expenses and reports. If you choose to add product images, the app also handles those images. Passwords are stored in protected form on the server; do not share them with support.
Why we use it
We use this information to create and approve accounts, operate your shop, manage access, display reports, synchronize participating online businesses, provide support and protect the service from unauthorized access.
Local storage and sync
Business records are kept on your device so the app can work offline. For approved online businesses, relevant records are sent to our server for synchronization and owner access. Records that have not synced remain on the device. A lost or reset phone can therefore cause loss of unsynced data.
Sharing and security
Authorized staff, owners and platform administrators can access data according to their roles. We use service providers needed to host and operate Butcherly. We do not sell your business data. We use access controls and encrypted network connections, though no system can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and your choices
We keep information while needed to provide the service and meet legitimate recordkeeping or legal obligations. You can ask for access, correction or deletion. Some transaction or financial records may need to be retained for a required period; we will explain this when responding to your request. To request account and associated data deletion, use our deletion form.
